Job Description
As part of the Engineering Enablement organization based in Europe, this enablement engineer develops and maintains CAD/CAE/EDA tools/methods used in Analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal product design and simulation, across all of ADI.
The candidate that fills this role will participate in optimizing the user productivity and experience through the use of AI enhanced tools and methodologies.
As an enablement engineer, you will also be expected to possess necessary programming skills and circuit design knowledge to allow you to develop, QA, support, and enhance EDA tools/methods used by IC product development teams.
Requirements
- Masters or Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Experienced in design or layout of Analog and mixed signal circuits
- Experienced in circuit simulation with Cadence ADE/Spectre, ideally with experience of RF simulations and debugging simulation issues
- Proficient at programming, like Cadence SKILL/Perl/Python/Shell etc.
- Good to have PDK or physical verification rules development experience.
- Experience in the use of AI large language models and Agentic AI is desirable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical for working, influencing and collaborating with product development groups in India and worldwide.
- Proficiency in English language

Shift Type: 1st Shift/Days
Pay Range: €77,700 to €127,650 in Ireland, Limerick. This range may change if you are hired in another location.
This range may be inclusive of several levels within this role and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role who are not located in the primary location may request the applicable pay range for their location during the interview process if an alternative location is an option.
This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus, the criteria for which are based on company factors and will be shared during the recruitment process.
This role may also be eligible for variable compensation, paid annual leave, and supplemental benefits as applicable under local policy and the terms and conditions of employment.
