We are looking for a skilled CAD / BIM Technician to join our Engineering Services team, supporting the delivery of high-quality digital engineering solutions on a major secure project in Cornwall.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will produce accurate 2D drawings and coordinated 3D models, with a particular focus on electrical and building services systems. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, designers and supply chain partners, you will help deliver coordinated, clash-free designs that support safe, efficient and successful project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Revit and AutoCAD experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and is passionate about digital engineering and BIM.

Key Duties

  • Produce and coordinate accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models for electrical and building services, ensuring compliance with project standards and industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with civil, structural and mechanical disciplines to deliver coordinated, clash-free designs using BIM methodologies and digital engineering tools.
  • Support BIM delivery through model coordination, clash detection, data management and compliance with BIM Level 2 standards and project BIM Execution Plans.
  • Work closely with project teams, designers and supply chain partners to deliver technical information to programme, budget and quality requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement by adopting innovative digital tools, workflows and modelling techniques that enhance project delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
