CAD Technician
We're looking for a CAD Technician to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting engineering and operational teams by creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings and GIS mapping data.
What You'll Do
- Produce and update CAD drawings, including site plans, layouts, process flow diagrams, and electrical drawings.
- Maintain drawing standards, document control, and version management.
- Manage CAD libraries, templates, and technical documentation.
- Support GIS mapping activities and asset data updates.
- Act as the main point of contact for CAD-related queries and support.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Proven AutoCAD experience in an engineering or technical environment.
- Experience producing and amending technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and document control skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Desirable
- Experience within utilities, water, infrastructure, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
- Knowledge of electrical/process drawings and GIS systems.
- Experience using SharePoint or document management systems.
