CAD Technician Required In North West London
Our client is a specialist facades contractor based in North West London, delivering high-quality façade solutions across a range of construction projects. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced CAD Technician with a strong background in cladding and External Wall Insulation (EWI) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities Of The CAD Technician
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for cladding and EWI systems.
- Prepare technical drawings, elevations, sections, and details.
- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Develop façade detailing and construction drawings.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, architects, and subcontractors.
- Assist with design coordination and resolving technical issues.
- Ensure drawings comply with relevant specifications, standards, and project requirements.
- Make revisions to drawings in line with project changes.
- Maintain accurate drawing registers and document control.

Requirements Of The CAD Technician
- Proven experience as a CAD Technician within the facades, cladding, or external wall insulation sector.
- Strong knowledge of cladding systems and EWI applications.
- Excellent AutoCAD skills.
- Experience producing detailed technical and construction drawings.
- The ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- A good understanding of façade construction and detailing.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider design team.
