CAD Technician
Location: Blaenavon
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum
Manpower is recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company for an experienced CAD Technician to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified CAD professional with a strong engineering background and experience using SolidWorks to play a key role in the design and development of engineering projects. You'll be working on a variety of bespoke engineering solutions, with many projects being supplied to clients across the globe, offering exposure to large-scale international work.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using SolidWorks
- Develop and modify designs in line with customer and project requirements
- Liaise with engineering and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and drawing records
- Support projects from concept through to manufacture
- Ensure designs meet customer specifications and industry standards

Requirements
- Degree, HND or HNC in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related discipline
- Proven experience using SolidWorks
- Previous experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
