CAD Technician
I'm currently recruiting for a CAD Technician to join a growing design team working on water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
About the Role
The role involves supporting projects from concept through to detailed design and construction, working alongside engineers and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings, primarily using AutoCAD.
- Develop plans, sections, details and GA layouts from engineer mark-ups and survey information.
- Assist with survey reviews and design development.
- Support CAD/BIM queries and drawing issues.
- Work to company quality and industry standards.

Key Requirements
- Experience using 2D CAD, ideally AutoCAD.
- Understanding of civil engineering principles and terminology.
- Good IT and Microsoft Office skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deliver accurate work to deadlines.
Desirable
- Water/wastewater or drainage experience.
- Knowledge of UK water industry standards, CIWEM or CESWI.
- Experience with CDE platforms.
- 3D CAD experience, such as Civil 3D or Revit.
- Understanding of CDM Regulations.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
