CAD TECHNICIAN
Sizewell, Leiston
CONTRACT TYPE: PERMANENT
SALARY: COMPETITIVE
CLOSING DATE: 14TH OCTOBER 2026
The role briefly encompasses the following duties but is not limited to:
- Preparation of detailed design drawings (Civil & MEICA)
- Preparation of site construction scaled drawings
- Preparation of fabricated drawings
- Update all red lined drawings to “as built” status
- Manage design drawing folders and ensure all up to date drawings are within contract folders
- Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals
- Assist in the collation of H&S file information
- Assist in the development of construction phase health and safety plans
- Assist in the development of design risk assessments

- HND or Degree qualification
- Knowledge of industry specifications
- Proficient in Auto-CAD (2D)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Fully converse with Microsoft Office Package
- Team Player
- Confident & Friendly
- Practical, logical, adaptable with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Work well on their own with minimum supervision
- Flexible
- Positive attitude to safety
- Tolerant of diverse working conditions and situations
- Good Timekeeping
