Job Title

Key Objectives
The CAD Technician will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and models to support the design and delivery of high voltage electrical cabling infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineers and project managers, the CAD Technician will ensure that all drawings meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D and 3D CAD drawings for HV cable routing, joint bays, trench cross-sections, and associated infrastructure.
- Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to develop accurate technical drawings.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure document control procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with engineers to resolve design issues and incorporate feedback.
- Support the preparation of design packages for client submission.
- Assist in the development of standard drawing templates and CAD libraries.
- Attend design review meetings and contribute to design development.
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and client specifications.
- Provide CAD support across multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of outputs.
- Participate in HAZID and design coordination meetings as required.
