CAD Technician - Tewkesbury - Hybrid
Up to £36,000 (DOE)

What will you be doing
- Producing CAD drawings & manuals of varying complexity according to the needs to designers, sales & operations
- Ensuring all drawings and documentation are produced to a high quality standard without errors
- Managing a number of drawing tasks at any one time and prioritising according to need
- The production of technical submittal documents for bid responses as required by the design team
- Responsible for document management within the design team
- Ensuring all output is produced in line with agreed timescales and delivered to the agreed deadline
- Adherence to Company’s policies and procedures
- Carrying out peer review of other CAD engineers work to ensure an error free environment and that quality and consistency is kept high across the team
- Maintenance of the CAD environment within the relevant office (Physical & Software)

What we are looking for
- In depth knowledge and at least 3 years’ experience working in a CAD environment in a building layout / construction capacity
- Maths & English at GCSE grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Able to multi task and set clear priorities
- Good knowledge of Office applications (Google & MS)
- Able to interpret Customer’s detailed drawings
- Fluent in written and spoken English with good communication skills
- Good level of customer service and customer liaison skills

There is also some must haves
- Must be able to pass BS7858 screening.
- Clean full UK driving license, with no more than 6 points.
- Enhanced DBS.
- Some government sites will require further screening.
