There are no limits to where you can take your career.Job Summary We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD/CAM/CAE Application Specialist to join our global team.
As a Centre of Excellence CAD\CAM\CAE Specialist, you will act as a skilled and knowledgeable team member whose role is to provide the business global Engineering Application support and deliver best practices around the development and configuration of CAD\CAM\CAE applications and solutions.
The Engineering IT team forms part of the wider IT applications team, an integral part of the global IT organisation.
This role is to be based in the UK, on a remote first basis.
You will have an expectation for travel to our UK sites every couple of months which may require an overnight stay depending on your location. This will tie in with team travel across Europe, which will likely be twice a year. What You'll Be Doing Work collaboratively, professionally and openely in a Center of Excellence team with both local and Global responsibility.
Provide 3rd line technical application support in disciplines such as;Enterprise Deployment. License Hosting & monitoring. Application Environment Management. Change Control, Version upgrading and sunsetting. Cross domain toolbox consolidation & sharing. Work within both our ITSM Incident and Request management framework to ensure engineering business continuity is maintained. Collaborate with our global project management demand stream to deliver local and global improvement projects. Collaborate with subject matter experts to resolve engineering and business requirements into technical solutions. Support of functional acceptance testing for new application rollouts. Remote and physical support of users located at various sites across Europe, US and Asia. Coordinate the resolution of toolset issues with software vendors.

What You'll Bring Essential:
A relevant engineering/IT qualification or relevant level of experience. A strong focus on continuous learning amd improvement. Open sharing of information with team members. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Understanding and experience working with Change management and project management frameworks and tools. Ability to create technical documents / presentations. A genuine interest in Engineering and IT.
Desired:
Previous experience providing support with CAD\CAM\CAE applications (or Engineering/Manufacturing). Application Packaging for Microsoft SCCM deployment.
