SSPN Global Engineering & Consultancy is a UK-based mechanical design consultancy that delivers end-to-end product development, from initial concept through start of production. The company’s CAD specialists support clients with design, reverse engineering, prototyping, and onsite build assistance. Role Description

This full-time, on-site CAE Engineer role is based in Royal Leamington Spa. The CAE Engineer will perform structural and mechanical analyses to support product design and development, using FEA and simulations to evaluate performance, durability, and safety. Daily responsibilities include:

  • Building and validating CAE models
  • Running optimization studies to improve designs
  • Interpreting results
  • Preparing clear technical reports and recommendations for design teams and clients

The role involves close collaboration with CAD engineers and project stakeholders to integrate analysis insights into the design process, troubleshoot engineering issues, and support continual improvement of analysis workflows and standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Structural Analysis and Mechanical Engineering
  • Practical experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Simulations
  • Capabilities in Optimization and data-driven design improvement
  • Proficiency in CAE tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus, Nastran, or similar) and familiarity with CAD integration
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
  • Ability to work on-site in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects and deadlines
