Café Chef

We are looking for a passionate Café Chef who enjoys working with fresh food and being part of a busy, collaborative team.

Green & Fortune offers high-quality hospitality experiences across London, with London Museum Docklands, in Canary Wharf, offering hospitality catering, bespoke events, and a vibrant, Grade I-listed riverside warehouse setting.

At Green and Fortune, we take pride of the connections we make through the moments and memories we create.

What makes you the Café Chef?

You’ll support the daily production of our café food offer, preparing fresh, high-quality food for our museum visitors throughout the day.

  • Prepare and produce a range of fresh café food, including salads, sandwiches, paninis, soups and other grab-and-go items.
  • Follow recipes, specifications and presentation standards to ensure quality and consistency across the offer.
  • Plan and organise daily production to ensure products are fresh, well presented and available throughout service.
  • Work efficiently to meet production volumes and deadlines, particularly ahead of busy museum periods.
  • Monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients correctly and help minimise food waste through careful preparation and portion control.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness, including allergen procedures and correct food storage.
  • Support the wider kitchen and café team during busy periods and contribute to a smooth and well-organised operation.
  • Contribute ideas for seasonal dishes and new café products, helping us keep the offer fresh, appealing and relevant to our visitors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

We encourage a one team approach, and willingness to get stuck in with all aspects of the restaurant from bar to floor.
