About Us
Chai Stall is an exciting new café brand. We will be opening and operating two locations across South Wales, bringing great chai, food, and customer service.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Café Manager to oversee both our Cardiff (Hadfield Road) and Newport (Commercial Road) cafés.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced café or hospitality professional to help establish and grow a new brand from the ground up.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of both cafés, ensuring excellent customer service, strong team performance, and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of two café locations.
- Recruit, train, motivate, and manage café staff.
- Deliver exceptional customer service standards.
- Monitor sales, costs, stock control, and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, health and safety, and company procedures.
- Manage staff rotas and labour costs.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and customer experience.
- Support the business owners with the café launch and ongoing development of the brand.
Skills and Competencies
- Has previous experience managing or supervising a café, coffee shop, restaurant, or fast-casual dining business.
- Has excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Is organised, proactive, and commercially minded.
- Can work across multiple locations.
- Has strong customer service and communication skills.
- Is passionate about food, drinks, and hospitality.

Desirable Experience
- Previous experience working for or managing a branch of Chaiiwala, Chai Green, or a similar café.
- Experience opening a new café or hospitality venue.
- Food Hygiene and Health & Safety qualifications.
