Café Manager
Leeds | Monday - Friday | 7:00am - 3:30pm
Salary: Up to £31,600 per annum (depending on experience)
Are you passionate about great coffee, fresh food and creating a café experience that customers love?
We're looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial Café Manager to take the lead of a busy workplace café in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining excellent customer service with hands-on food preparation, commercial awareness and creative thinking.
You'll run the café as if it were your own, building customer loyalty, driving sales, creating an inviting atmosphere and delivering a fantastic food and drink offer every day.
What You'll Be Doing
- Taking full ownership of the day-to-day running of the café
- Preparing and serving a fresh grab-and-go, deli-style and breakfast offer
- Crafting quality coffees and delivering an excellent customer experience
- Building strong relationships with customers and creating a welcoming café environment
- Building strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders, acting as the face of the café and ensuring the offer continues to meet their needs and expectations
- Managing stock, ordering, wastage and daily administration
- Looking for opportunities to increase sales, improve the offer and maximise profitability
- Ensuring high standards of food safety, cleanliness and compliance
- Opening and closing the café independently

What we're looking for
We're keen to speak with people who have experience in cafés, coffee shops, delis, hospitality or food retail environments and who are passionate about delivering great food and service.
You'll Be
- A confident self-starter who thrives working independently
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Passionate about coffee, food and creating memorable customer experiences
- Competent in food preparation and light cooking
- Commercially minded with an eye for growing sales and enhancing the customer offer
- Organised, reliable and comfortable managing stock and administration
- A strong communicator who can build positive relationships with customers and clients
- Someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment
- Motivated to make the café a destination people genuinely want to visit
