At Morrisons, our Cafes are the bustling heart of our stores. We don’t just serve meals; we provide a warm, welcoming community hub where customers can relax and recharge.

As a Cafe Manager, you won’t be stuck behind a desk. You will be right out on the floor and in the kitchen; leading your team, driving speed of service, and ensuring every plate of food looks spectacular.

Reporting into an Area Hospitality Manager, you’ll take full ownership of the menu delivery, speed of service, and hospitality.

Your main objective is to ensure every plate of food is beautifully presented and top-quality, while coaching your team to deliver the friendly, helpful service that keeps our regulars coming back week after week.

What you'll be doing day-to-day:

  • Leading with Passion: Inspiring, coaching, and developing both your kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Driving Excellence: Ensuring impeccable food quality, pristine table presentations, and expert barista service.
  • Managing the Numbers: Taking full ownership of your cafe's sales, food waste, stock control, and labour budgets.
  • Keeping it Safe: Maintaining strict kitchen food safety, hygiene standards, and legal compliance to secure top-tier Food Hygiene Ratings (FHR).
  • Putting Customers First: Being a visible, friendly face on the floor to ensure a fantastic dining atmosphere.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
