About The Job
As a Café Supervisor at Lampton, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of the Café, including supervising staff, stock management, preparing high-quality products, and providing first-class customer service.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Line management of café staff and dealing with relevant issues, including monitoring holidays and sickness, producing the monthly rota, and completing monthly time sheets.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising café staff.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, food hygiene, cleanliness, and Control of Substances Harmful to Health (COSHH).
- Ensure all required products have allergen labelling.
- Ensure all required product calorie information is displayed and is easily visible to customers.
- Managing the stock levels to minimise stock loss/wastage while ensuring the café operates to its full potential.
- Ensuring the Café, Kitchen, and Storage room is clean, neat, and tidy at all times and comply with environmental health requirements.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience of working in a Supervisory or equivalent role with the hospitality sector.
- Cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation.
- Food Hygiene or Food Handling Certificate is required.
- Experience of delivering first-class customer service.
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to influence and persuade.
