What you’ll be responsible for

Café Supervisor – Lisvane & Llanishen Reservoir Visitor Centre

Lisvane and Llanishen is one of five stunning visitor attractions operated by DWR Cymru Welsh Water, welcoming thousands of guests each year to enjoy outdoor adventures, scenic walks, and relaxing moments by the water. Great food is at the heart of these experiences — and as Café Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in making that happen.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Catering Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day running of our café, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and colleagues alike. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead by example, supporting the team to deliver high-quality food and drink in a friendly, efficient manner — both front of house and in the kitchen.

What You’ll Do

  • Supervise café employees, ensuring high standards of service and food presentation.
  • Work alongside the kitchen team to prepare and serve food to agreed standards.
  • Manage daily operations, including stock control, hygiene checks, and cash handling.
  • Support the Café Manager with scheduling, training, and team development.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive environment for both guests and team members.
  • Uphold health and safety standards and compliance with food regulations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
