Location: GOGGS, London, SW1A 2HQ

Annual salary: £32,974.60

Contract type: Full-time, Permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Shift times: Varied. The café is open from 7:30am to 5:30pm Tuesday to Thursday, and from 7:00am to 4:30pm on Mondays and Fridays.


Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Café Supervisor to join our team working at GOGGS.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shift, ensuring the team is motivated and provides excellent customer service. You will be training staff, assisting the Manager with managerial tasks alongside all other front-of-house daily duties.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure the team is motivated and provides a service focused environment
  • Assist the Retail Manager with stock control and ordering, staff rotas, and shift patterns, alongside training and coaching your team.
  • Ensure cleaning schedules are in place and followed by staff to maintain high standards
  • Operating the till and cash handling – exploring upselling opportunities and providing excellent customer service
  • Making drinks and serving food
  • Greets customers and provides a welcoming and friendly environment
  • Demonstrates a real understanding of the menu items and can explain it to customers in an enthusiastic manner – is able to train new starters
  • Cash management, giving change, recording orders, cashing up

What we’re looking for:

  • UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work.
  • Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous experience preferred.
