We are currently looking for a Calibration & Equipment Engineer to join our team on a stable basis.
What You Will Do
- Manage and maintain the laboratory equipment register, ensuring all equipment is fit for purpose and complies with ISO/IEC 17025, UKAS and internal quality requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor calibration activities, including internal and external calibrations, and manage calibration schedules.
- Investigate equipment faults and coordinate repair, servicing, maintenance and replacement activities.
- Support laboratory operations by managing consumables, accessories and equipment procurement, upgrades and replacements.
- Provide calibration and maintenance records for audits and assessments, while ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

Key Requirements
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar.
- HNC/HND/NVQ Level 4 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Industry relevant Calibration and / or Equipment Control experience also considered.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.

Preferred Experience
- Experience completing equipment calibration tasks on EMC, ENV or Electrical Safety equipment (RF Cables, LISN, Accelerometers etc.)
- Experience dealing with external suppliers.
