Call Center Representative / Call Center / Per Diem
Provides personal care and professional excellence by operation of the main hospital telephone console system, the in-house paging system, monitoring the alarm panels, and monitoring other 24-hour department needs such as keys.
Job Duties
- Operate the switchboard with courtesy and professionalism. Answer and direct telephone calls in a polite and informative manner.
- Take and relay messages.
- Page individuals to inform them of telephone calls, using paging and interoffice communication equipment.
- Make general overhead announcements.
- Responsible for overhead/beeper paging of emergency calls (Stats and Codes).
- Assists patients in making telephone calls, local, person to person calls, and long distance.
- Assists callers with other questions.
- Other duties as assigned
