As a Call Centre Agent
You’ll be the voice of our business – handling inbound and outbound customer and driver calls, managing bookings and resolving queries. You’ll use our booking and dispatch systems to ensure services run smoothly and customers get the support they need.
Key responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently.
- Accurately process bookings via telephone, email, and online portals.
- Respond to customer and driver queries, escalating where necessary.
- Communicate clearly about delays, cancellations, or service issues.
- Liaise with internal teams and support seamless service delivery.
- Monitor shared inboxes and ensure timely, accurate responses.

About you
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Friendly, respectful, and professional telephone manner.
- Strong attention to detail and confident IT user (MS Office).
- Able to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Flexible with shift availability (including weekends & evenings).
- Team player with a proactive and positive attitude.
Experience working in the taxi industry, working in a call centre, and geographical knowledge of the Chester is desirable, but not essential. Full training will be provided to all successful candidates. Applicants must be prepared to undertake safeguarding training and submit to a basic DBS check.
