About The Role
As a Call Centre Agent based in Daventry, you will manage incoming telephone enquiries with professionalism, offering clear and precise responses to customers. Your duties include resolving questions and complaints calmly, plus making outbound calls when necessary. This temporary position pays £13.50 per hour and suits those seeking school-friendly hours, with shifts every Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. You will also log customer details accurately. We seek a dependable and personable individual who communicates effectively and handles pressure with composure. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming customer calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate information.
- Handle customer requests, questions and complaints calmly and efficiently.
- Make outbound cold calls where required.
- Record customer information and update records accurately.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service.
- Follow company procedures and escalate complex issues when required.
- Work effectively as part of a team.
- Meet agreed service and performance standards.
- Maintain confidentiality when dealing with customer information.
About You
The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Good listening and customer service skills.
- The ability to remain calm and polite when dealing with difficult customers.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic computer and administrative skills.
- A reliable, punctual and organised approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous call centre or customer service experience is desirable.
