About Spark
Spark Energy UK installs residential solar and battery systems across England and Wales. Homeowners ask us for a quote — through our website, our adverts and our partners — and the call centre team at our head office in Brighouse is the first voice they hear. We are hiring two more agents to join that team.
This is not cold calling. Every person you ring has already asked us for a quote. Your job is to call them quickly, find out what they are after, check the home is right for solar, and book an in-home appointment with one of our sales consultants — then make sure that appointment actually happens.
What the job is
- Calling new enquiries as they land — the sooner we ring, the more we book, so speed matters
- Qualifying the enquiry: who owns the property, roof and electricity bills, what they want from solar and when — the questions are on the script in our own system, SparkOS
- Booking the appointment straight into the right consultant's diary in SparkOS, planned by drive time so the consultant can get there
- Confirmation calls and texts before the visit, rescheduling anyone who moves, and chasing the enquiries that didn't pick up first time
- Answering inbound calls from customers and pointing them to the right person
- Keeping SparkOS up to date after every call — outcome, notes, next step — because that is what the consultants work from

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
