Job Description

Help Shape Europe's Sustainable Future

Looking for a career where you can make a difference while building valuable skills and experience?

At ICF, you'll work on some of Europe's most exciting climate, biodiversity, and sustainable finance projects. From supporting the delivery of major EU climate and biodiversity policy initiatives to helping public institutions develop transition strategies, you'll be part of work that creates real-world impact from day one.

We're looking for ambitious Analysts and Consultants who are curious, driven, and passionate about tackling some of today's biggest environmental challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll join a supportive team of climate, biodiversity, sustainability, and policy experts, working on projects for European institutions, governments, and leading organisations.

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Support the development of reports, factsheets, policy briefs, impact assessments, and strategic recommendations
  • Analyse data, policy developments, and market trends, leveraging responsible AI use where applicable
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders across Europe
  • Synthesise complex technical information into clear, actionable insights and recommendations for policymakers and decision-makers
  • Contribute to projects that support the transition to a more sustainable future

No two days are the same, and you'll be encouraged to take ownership, share ideas, and develop your expertise along the way.

What We're Looking For

We're less interested in ticking every box and more interested in finding people with the right mindset.

You might have 1-4 years of relevant experience, but we're especially keen to hear from people who are:

  • Curious and eager to learn
  • Passionate about climate, sustainability, and making a positive impact
  • Strong analytical, report-writing, and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to take on new challenges
  • Strong team players who enjoy collaborating with others
  • Understanding of European climate and environmental policy frameworks

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
