Role: CAM Programmer (Remote)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)

Job Type: Contract

Payout: $25 - $50/hour

Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a CAM Programmer to work on a contract basis developing toolpaths for precision machining operations. The role involves translating CAD models into efficient machining instructions for CNC equipment. Proficiency with Micro1 and CAM software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and optimize computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) toolpaths for complex 3D geometries.
  • Translate CAD models into precise machining instructions for CNC machines.
  • Validate toolpaths through simulation to ensure accuracy and collision avoidance.
  • Collaborate with engineers to refine designs for manufacturability.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of machining processes and revisions.
