Role Description
This is a volunteer, on-site Camera Operator role based in Leeds. The Camera Operator will capture video content for a narrative music video for 2- 3 day filming. This is a Gothic Romance inspired music video. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Setting up and operating cameras
- Collaborating with the director and production staff
- Adjusting framing
- Ensuring high-quality visual output
The role may also involve:
- Assisting with basic video production tasks
- Maintaining equipment

It is important the video maker understands the artistic vision and follows the guidelines provided by the director, for shot composition and visual style as well as final editing and production. The position is suited to individuals seeking hands-on experience in a music-focused production environment, who are collaborative and can follow instructions and director's guidelines on a shot list.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Camera Operation and Camera handling skills.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Production.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Film Production, Music Video Production or similar production environments.
- Ability to follow creative direction and work collaboratively with artist, director, and production teams.
- Professional who prioritizes artistic vision over ego and values collaboration.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work on-site both in Lincolnshire and North Yorkshire as needed.
- Previous experience in music, film, or media projects is an advantage but not required.

Availability
25th and 26th September. Extra filming day: 27th September. Location: Lincolnshire (coast) and North Yorkshire (Huddersfield). Note: Depart from Leeds with us (transport provided); if you're not based in Leeds, meet at the filming location.
Equipment
Camera, Lights, and tripods can be provided. Own equipment is welcome, especially cinematic Blackmagic cameras.
Expenses
Expenses will be covered (minimum of £ 60 for each member). Mutual collaboration, shout-out, and promotion on social media and YouTube (over 7k followers on social media) and portfolio-building opportunities offered. The label would also offer services and expertise at no cost for your next projects.
