Job Title: CAMHS Practitioners
We are looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed CAMHS Practitioners to join the Getting Advice Team Pathway within the Single Point of Access function.
This is an exciting time to join our evolving service in the Getting Advice Pathway, where we are committed to improving access to mental health advice and support for children, young people, and their families. This will be a dynamic role where no two days will be the same. This will involve triaging, assessment, and formulation of young people, families, plus signposting and engagement with partner agencies, helping to identify the most appropriate support for each young person at the most appropriate time.
Applications
Applications are invited from qualified Registered Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disability Nurses, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists.
Responsibilities
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Co-work effectively with colleagues and maintain good clinical records and data collections.
- Provide individual support for young people, their families, and carers within Getting Advice SPA to explore ways of improving mental health and well-being via effective screening and triaging of referrals.
- Support the efficient management of referrals into CAMHS – including onward referral, signposting, support to access appropriate services, and guidance.
- Collect relevant data to demonstrate the effectiveness of the service.
- Manage potential crisis situations and effective risk assessment.

Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm
