Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Benefits

The role offers valuable experience in a CAMHS-related setting and the opportunity to develop skills relevant to an Assistant Psychologist career.

You will work closely with clinicians delivering evidence-based psychological therapies within a CAMHS setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while supporting triage and screening of referrals and contributing to monthly service reports. You will help run the GP Youth Clinic by registering referrals, maintaining databases to track patient progress, ensuring accurate, up-to-date records, and being present during clinic hours. Responsibilities include managing GP appointments, coordinating referral lists, and preparing cases for triage meetings. You will ensure outcomes from triage and MDT discussions are recorded accurately on clinical systems such as EMIS and EPJS, including whether referrals are accepted or declined.

You will also support onward referrals by liaising with relevant services, completing follow-up actions on EMIS, and ensuring all documentation is properly recorded and stored across systems. The role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a busy community mental health environment.

Overall, this post offers an excellent opportunity to develop experience in community mental health, gain insight into clinical pathways, and support a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving outcomes for young people.
