Exciting Opportunity for a Team Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator to join our Children and Young People's Mental Health Service (CYPMH) within the Weymouth and Portland CAMHS Team. This is a varied and rewarding role providing high-quality administrative, secretarial and reception support to a busy multidisciplinary clinical team, helping to ensure children, young people and families receive timely and effective care.

About the Role

CYPMH Dorset is entering an exciting period of growth, with new investment enabling us to enhance our services in line with Thrive principles. This role will evolve as we develop, beginning with supporting existing teams from a temporary base during the transition. This is a fantastic opportunity to build skills, influence new initiatives and grow professionally within a supportive and forward-thinking service.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our administration team, you will provide efficient administrative, secretarial and reception support, acting as a key point of contact for children, young people, families, carers and professionals. Duties will include:

Required Qualifications and Experience

You will have experience working in an administrative or office environment, excellent communication and organisational skills, strong IT skills and a professional, flexible approach to work. You will understand the importance of confidentiality, be able to manage competing priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Previous NHS experience and knowledge of electronic patient record systems would be advantageous.
