CAMO Engineer

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Salary: £55,000 - £57,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Hybrid Working: Hybrid working options available

Are you an experienced aviation professional with a strong understanding of continuing airworthiness, maintenance planning, and technical management?

We are looking for a CAMO Engineer to join an established aviation engineering operation in Doncaster, supporting the continuing airworthiness, maintenance planning, and technical oversight of a King Air fleet.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CAMO, Technical Services, Fleet, or Maintenance Planning professional to take on a key role within a highly experienced aviation engineering environment.

The Role

As a CAMO Engineer, you will support the ongoing airworthiness and technical management of the fleet, working closely with engineering, planning, maintenance, and operational teams to ensure aircraft remain safe, compliant, and operationally available.

You will play an important role in maintenance planning, reliability, modification programs, component management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development, review, and standardization of Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMPs).
  • Assist with reliability monitoring, data analysis, and airworthiness reviews.
  • Coordinate long-term maintenance planning, including base maintenance inputs, storage events, and in-service modification programs.
  • Define maintenance work scopes and oversee maintenance inputs, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage major components, including engines, propellers, and landing gear.
  • Ensure timely provision of spares, modification kits, and other required resources.
  • Liaise with planning teams, MROs, OEMs, and Type Certificate Holders.
  • Support continuing airworthiness activities, including modifications, repairs, and regulatory compliance.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs, including invoice approval and spares/stock management.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and ongoing audit readiness.
  • Contribute to safety reporting, compliance processes, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support across the organization.
  • Contribute to MEL and CAT-IDE updates where required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is highly organized, technically minded, and able to manage multiple priorities within a busy aviation environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Strong working knowledge of Part M / Part CAMO, Part 145, and Part 21.
  • Experience supporting Beechcraft King Air aircraft or similar twin-turboprop platforms.
  • Experience in maintenance planning, reliability analysis, and/or aircraft technical management.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • An understanding of Just Culture principles.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain SC / CTC security clearance.
