ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Campaign Manager is a crucial part of the central marketing team, taking responsibility for planning and executing show campaign activity across a range of venues. As a Campaign Manager within the centralised marketing team you’ll:
- Plan show campaign activity within agreed parameters, juggling multiple different titles and venues as directed by the Head of Campaign Management and Senior Campaign Manager. Working alongside central teams on planning and execution for Online, Digital, CRM and Content activity
- Execute campaign activity (ensuring budgets are controlled and commercial opportunities are exploited) and work with the rest of the Campaigns teams and any external agencies to book all media and to create printed collateral as
- Liaise with producers, marketing reps and internal colleagues to create, gather and catalogue assets in support of show marketing activity
- Work with the Campaigns team on the design, print, mailing and distribution of the brochure and other printed collateral
- Timetable onsale activity; and work closely with colleagues in the Trafalgar Tickets team to plan and activate consumer-focused marketing activity (prioritising key shows within your venue cluster)
- Support the Venue Marketing Executives within your venue cluster as they activate venue marketing activity
- Keep accurate records of show marketing activity, expenditure and results to inform ongoing improvements to the marketing effort

Our aim is to provide industry-leading support to touring producers and their shows by activating excellent show marketing and consumer marketing campaigns; and positioning our venues well within their marketplace.
The role reports to the Senior Campaign Manager and has positive collaborative relationships with others across Trafalgar Entertainment and with third parties across the sector.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll have experience of planning and executing campaign activity, preferably in a theatre, music or live entertainment role. You’ll be capable of handling a busy workload and keeping multiple plates spinning; and able to track and interpret sales patterns and commercial opportunities.
You’ll bring strong interpersonal, negotiating and influencing skills to the role; and a healthy obsession for selling tickets! IT skills and an entrepreneurial instinct are essential; as is a working knowledge of media, advertising and consumer marketing developments.
CAMPAIGN MANAGER KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning show campaign activity across multiple shows and across a small cluster of regional venues (one night, week-long and multi-week)
- Discussion, negotiation and liaison with incoming producers to shape campaign activity with them to achieve desired results
- Recording of planned campaigns within agreed framework to aid visibility of actions and deadlines across the department
- Managing and monitoring the execution of planned campaigns; and working with others to book activity, plan consumer marketing and audience development activities.
- Work with Campaigns team members to activate all aspects of offline marketing activity in relation to show campaigns, venue activity and other groupwide initiatives, and work alongside central teams for online and digital marketing planning and activity.
- Work with the Campaigns team to plan and fulfil the brochure process – scheduling, gathering content, liaising with designers, printers and mailing houses to ensure timely delivery within brand guidelines and to a specified
- Regular reporting back to producers on results, achievements and challenges in order to shape future marketing activity to achieve results
- Liaison with Venue Marketing Executives within the venue cluster to identify priorities and support venue marketing activity where required
- Development of a strong market understanding of the venues within the cluster in order to advise producers and internal colleagues on market conditions, audience demographic and target locations
- Budgetary oversight for individual campaigns; redeploying spend as required in close consultation with visiting producers and in the commercial interests of the company
- Attend regular meetings with colleagues to update on key priorities, campaign and sales progress
- Provide support to the Senior Campaign Manager for presentations, pitches and meetings with key producer clients
- Support group activities and initiatives as required, across TE, Trafalgar Productions, JCTP and Trafalgar Tickets
- Provide information in support of KPI reporting, analysis, insight and other measures where required
- Any other related duties and delegated tasks as may be
