Position: Campaigns Administrator
Department: Campaigns
Reports to: Head of Campaigns
Location: Westminster (Full-Time Contract)

Role Overview

We are looking for a hardworking, organised and proficient administrator to support the Senior Staff and wider team within the Campaigns Department. The postholder will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective administration of the department’s ongoing projects.

The role will involve managing the department’s inbox, maintaining departmental records and databases, coordinating multiple projects, and providing administrative support to the Head of Campaigns and other Senior Staff. The postholder will work closely with colleagues across the Campaigns Department, both in Head Office and in the field.

The successful candidate will have exceptional organisational and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring and managing the department’s inbox, ensuring queries and issues are appropriately followed up and resolved promptly.
  • Coordinating the day-to-day administration and organisation of multiple campaign projects.
  • Maintaining and updating departmental databases, records, and other key documents, ensuring information is accurate throughout.
  • Providing administrative and organisational support to the Head of Campaigns and Senior Staff.
  • Preparing detailed reports, briefings and other materials for senior staff and, where required, Party Leadership, often at short notice.
  • Supporting the department with ad hoc administrative tasks and responding flexibly to changing priorities.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills.
  • Previous professional experience working in a political, campaigning or public affairs environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities effectively, while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and strong IT skills.
