Role Description
The Campervan Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol, responsible for the hands-on build, fit-out, and maintenance of campervans. Day-to-day tasks include:
- Installing electrical systems
- Plumbing
- Insulation
- Interior fittings
- Carpentry work for custom furniture and storage solutions

The Campervan Technician collaborates with designers and other technicians, follows build plans and specifications, and maintains a clean, organized workshop. This position also requires accurate documentation of work completed and occasional customer-facing support to explain technical features and ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Practical skills in vehicle conversion, including basic electrical installation, plumbing, and carpentry for interior builds.
- Experience with hand and power tools, measuring equipment, and workshop machinery in a safe and controlled manner.
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and build specifications with strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of vehicle safety standards, basic mechanical checks, and best practices for off-grid systems (e.g., solar, batteries).
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and fix build or system issues efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a workshop environment.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple build tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Relevant experience in campervan conversions, joinery, automotive work, or a related trade; vocational training or apprenticeship is an advantage.
- Commitment to health and safety procedures, and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies.
