Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Camunda 8, Java, Spring Boot, and React to support the development of lending origination workflows for a leading financial services client. You will be responsible for building scalable workflow solutions, integrating backend services, developing user-facing applications, and contributing to a modern CI/CD-driven development environment within an Agile team.
- Location: London (Hybrid - 2 to 3 days onsite per week)
- Daily Rate: £542 per day via Umbrella
- Contract Length: Until 06/2027
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities
- Develop lending origination workflows using Camunda 8 for business process orchestration.
- Implement service-task integrations using Java-based job workers and backend services.
- Build and maintain React-based user interfaces for workflow and user task interactions.
- Develop scalable backend components using Java, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and SQL databases.
- Participate in Agile SCRUM ceremonies and maintain accurate project updates within JIRA.
- Deliver high-quality, testable code with automated test coverage and CI/CD best practices.
- Provide 3rd line production support and assist with UAT activities when required.

Key Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions using Camunda (ideally Camunda 8).
- Strong Java development experience, including Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, JUnit, Mockito, and REST API development.
- Front-end development expertise using React JS, Redux, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Axios.
- Experience working with SQL databases, preferably MS SQL, and microservices architectures.
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD tools including GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, SonarQube, and Nexus.
- Experience with OpenShift, Agile delivery environments, and financial services projects is highly desirable.
