Cancer Centre Receptionist Administrator

We are recruiting for a part-time Cancer Centre Receptionist Administrator who will be primarily based in our contact centre, who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

About the Role

The Cancer Services at the Mount Vernon, Northwood is looking for a Receptionist Administrator to work as part of a dedicated and friendly team.

The receptionist administrator is responsible for welcoming the patients to the Cancer Centre to assist in the smooth running of the patients' visit, by liaising with the nurses, radiographers, transport departments, and other colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate between the Radiotherapy reception, Chemotherapy Suite reception, and Patient Registration.
  • Work in a busy and very demanding environment, especially when covering all roles during periods of sickness or annual leave.
  • Welcome all patients into the Cancer Centre and check them in for their appointment.
  • Deal with any queries from patients or staff that come in by phone, and ensure that all patient appointments are made as required.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the team.
  • Ensure that knowledge and process of Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy regimes are fully known and kept up to date.
