We are recruiting for a Cancer Education Team Administrator

We are recruiting for a Cancer Education Team Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

Role Overview

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and Information Technology support to the Postgraduate Education Centre, supporting the delivery of high-quality education and training to multidisciplinary staff groups across Cancer Services.

Working as part of the Cancer Education Team, the post holder will support senior staff and training teams with a range of administrative and coordination duties relating to education, workforce development and staff training processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating study days, induction programmes and training events
  • Maintaining accurate records and databases
  • Supporting online learning platforms
  • Working with Human Resources to support identification and pre-employment checks
  • Looking after all work experience placements for Mount Vernon Cancer Centre
  • Ensuring effective communication across the department

Working Pattern

The post will be worked on a part-time basis, with a two-week working pattern of 3 days one week and 2 days the following week. There will be some flexibility to adjust working days to meet service requirements and ensure appropriate office cover.

Key Duties

  • Providing an efficient administrative service to the Cancer Education Team within Cancer Services
  • Communicating effectively with Trust staff, colleagues, and external organisations regarding education and training
  • Coordinating education and training events using Trust systems and online booking platforms
  • Providing administrative and IT support using Microsoft 365, Trust systems, and approved AI-enabled technologies
  • Supporting work experience placements via the Trust portal
  • Maintaining the annual education and training calendar and Trust website information
