Job Description
Anticipated Contract End Date/Length: 6 months
Work Setup: Hybrid – 3 days per week in office, 2 days remote
Our client in the global professional services industry is looking for a Candidate Interviewing Specialist to play an integral part within the Early Talent Recruitment Experience and Assessments Hub. This role is critical to running and maintaining high standards of candidate assessment across graduate, intern, and apprenticeship recruitment.
The successful candidate will act as an Interviewing Subject Matter Expert (SME), conducting a high volume of interviews while ensuring quality, consistency, and fairness in line with the Early Talent Assessment model. The role will also focus on delivering a top-class and seamless candidate experience and requires a strong understanding of recruitment processes and the Early Talent market within the UK.
What you will do:
Interviewing
- Conduct a high volume of virtual interviews during peak recruitment periods using the recruitment platform to score candidates and record feedback.
- Support in-person final interviews at the London office during peak recruitment periods.
- Provide advice and guidance to interviewing managers.
- Support the Interview Coordinator in the London office as required.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for the virtual interview platform.
- Support the wider team and troubleshoot common virtual interview platform issues when needed.
- Train and mentor new team members on the virtual interview platform.
- Help candidates prepare for each stage of the recruitment process through digital helpdesk sessions, phone calls, and other communication channels.
- Communicate recruitment outcomes to candidates and provide verbal feedback upon request.
- Help manage two busy candidate inboxes and respond promptly to candidate queries.
- Record and implement requested interview adjustments to support an inclusive and seamless candidate experience.

Candidate Management and Experience
- Support Applicant Tracking System management to ensure candidates progress through or are withdrawn from the recruitment pipeline in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment information.
- Ensure candidate queries and interview requirements are addressed promptly.
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment and assessment process.
- Support quality, consistency, and fairness across Early Talent assessments.
Qualifications:
- Bring strong experience within recruitment, talent acquisition, candidate assessment, or a related Human Resources environment.
- Possess a strong understanding of recruitment processes and the UK Early Talent market.
- Demonstrate experience conducting high-volume interviews within a graduate, internship, apprenticeship, or similar recruitment environment.
- Bring strong understanding of candidate assessment processes and the importance of quality, consistency, and fairness.
- Possess experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment platforms.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
- Bring excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of interviews, candidate queries, and competing priorities.
- Possess strong attention to detail when recording candidate feedback, interview outcomes, and recruitment information.
- Demonstrate confidence providing advice and guidance to interviewing managers.
- Bring experience training, mentoring, or supporting colleagues on recruitment platforms or processes.
- Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot common technology or platform issues.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering an excellent candidate experience.
- Bring the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced recruitment environment, particularly during peak interview periods.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work onsite in London three days per week, including mandatory Monday and Friday office days and an additional office day during peak interview periods.
