Location: Edinburgh
Dates: Roughly 4x shifts per month until March/ April 2027 (dates are TBC)
First confirmed date is 5th September 2026
Hours: Between 6-10 hours, including evenings and weekends.

About the role
We’re looking for professional, reliable Security Team Members to support the safe and smooth delivery of our Candlelight events.
You’ll help create a safe, welcoming environment for guests, performers and the wider event team, while responding calmly and confidently to any issues that arise.
What you’ll do 🧑💼
- Monitor the venue and event spaces
- Welcome guests while maintaining a safe environment
- Manage access and respond to any security concerns
- Support crowd management and guest flow
- Monitor entrances, exits and restricted areas
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents
- Work closely with the event team and venue staff
- Complete any required security checks and reporting

What we’re looking for ☺️
You’ll be:
- Professional, approachable and confident

- A clear communicator
- Comfortable working in a busy event environment
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- A valid SIA or PSA (Ireland) licence and previous event security experience are required.
