Kepak - Canteen Assistant

We are looking for a canteen assistant to join our team, to help assist in the excellent customer service delivery and experience of the Canteen. To promote the food offerings, whilst complying with relevant food safety and hygiene standards.
You will be working Monday to Friday and start at 05:00 until canteen finish.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Take customer orders efficiently and with a friendly attitude
- Process orders through the cash register accurately
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
- Undertake food preparation duties as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the canteen area
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the canteen
- Provide excellent customer service and address any customer queries or concerns
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth operations of the canteen
- Perform other duties as assigned by the canteen manager
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a food service or customer-facing role
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
- Reliability and punctuality
