We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaging weekly paid Canteen Assistant to join the Catering team to support and contribute to delivering a high-quality catering and customer-facing service to Site.
Location - Westerleigh, BS37 8QZ
Shift pattern - Monday - Friday
Working hours - 06:00am - 15:00pm
Contract type - Fixed term, 12 months contract

Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Stock taking
- Preparing and serving food / beverages
- Collecting monies and operating a cash till
- Preparing food as required
- Interacting with internal and external customers
- Cleaning of kitchen equipment, worktops, tables and floors
- Assisting with ad hoc requests (such as buffets, engagement events etc.)
- Complying with H&S and food hygiene requirements (to ensure in line with legal compliance)
- Complying with COSHH and HACCP guidelines
Key Requirements Of The Role Will Include

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment and/or in a customer-facing role
- Good understanding of food hygiene requirements (ideally food safety trained)
- Good verbal, written and numerical skills (to include handling cash)
- Well organised and self-motivated
