Due to continued growth and investment in our fleet, GTAccess Limited is looking for experienced and motivated CAP Engineers to join our expanding engineering team in our BRENTWOOD location.

This is an exciting opportunity to build your career with a fast-growing, independent powered access specialist that invests heavily in its people, equipment, and training. You'll be joining a professional team dedicated to delivering exceptional service, maintaining industry-leading standards, and keeping our customers working safely.

The Role As a Powered Access Engineer, you will play a vital role in maintaining, inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing our modern fleet of powered access equipment, ensuring machines are safe, compliant, and ready for hire.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, inspections, and repairs on powered access equipment
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and control system faults
  • Completing LOLER and CAP inspections where qualified
  • Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
  • Supporting depot operations to maximise fleet availability and customer satisfaction
  • Working both independently and as part of a wider engineering team

About You

We're looking for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy solving technical problems, and are committed to delivering high standards.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working on powered access equipment, plant machinery, agricultural machinery, or similar equipment
  • Strong electrical and hydraulic fault-finding skills
  • Good mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive, professional attitude
  • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Desirable Qualifications

  • CAP Certification
  • IPAF Licence
  • Relevant engineering qualifications
  • Experience carrying out LOLER examinations
  • Familiarity with telematics and modern machine diagnostics
