About this opportunity
This is your opportunity to shape learning that helps colleagues and partner networks deliver exceptional customer outcomes across our Transport business.
As a Capability & Development Manager, you'll play a key role in building the confidence, capability and technical expertise of customer-facing colleagues, original equipment manufacturer partners and dealer networks. Working at the heart of a fast-moving and evolving transport ecosystem, you'll design and deliver learning experiences that help people succeed, support business growth and ensure customers receive the best possible outcomes.
You'll work across the full learning lifecycle, identifying capability gaps and creating engaging learning solutions that bring products, propositions, systems, customer journeys and regulatory requirements to life. Using a blend of digital, virtual and face-to-face learning, you'll create practical programmes that make complex information easy to understand and apply in real-world customer interactions.
Working closely with colleagues across Transport Platform, Distribution, Product, Operations, Risk and Compliance, you'll ensure learning remains commercially relevant, accurate and aligned to changing business and regulatory requirements. You'll also use performance data, learner feedback and business insight to continually evolve learning experiences, measure their impact and drive improvements in colleague and partner performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
