The Role
The Capability Delivery Lead plays a key role in managing the strategic delivery of the Capability COE’s strategic and operational plan intended to build organisational capability, enhance employee performance and embed a culture of continuous learning across the Azets Group in alignment with Group Capability COE approaches.
This role acts as the Group Capability COE’s Delivery lead for the Capability COE’s development of Group Learning Solutions and Leadership and Management Development Frameworks, Group Performance, Talent and Succession Management Approaches, Technical and Compliance training and Early Careers Approaches, ensuring consistent delivery to the Azets Group’s Business Units and Group Functions of Group Capability COE approaches, frameworks and products. This role will manage the annual COE plan, the Capability budget, all required reporting and KPI management in addition to leading on RFP processes as required. In FY 27 this will be for a new LMS and Performance System and for one UK based technical training provider for both AUK and Blick Rothenberg.
This role will also be the leadership bridge between the UK and Nordic capability team and processes and our shared service team members with a particular focus on transitioning Nordic Capability activity to Romania and identifying opportunities to simplify and align our processes using AI and ensuring our Romanian team members feel an active part of the Capability team.
Working closely with their Capability COE Leadership team peers, business unit People teams, the wider Group People function and the Shared Services Centre (SSC), the role ensures Capability solutions are aligned to strategic priorities and deliver measurable impact.
This role contributes to developing Azets’ leadership pipeline, strengthening capability across the organisation and supporting the achievement of Group business objectives.

Key Accountabilities
Capability Needs
- Contributes to Group-wide Capability needs analyses to identify current and future Capability gaps across the Nordic businesses.
- Use data, stakeholder insight and business priorities to inform capability strategies and plans with ability to articulate the commercial and client value of priority areas
Change Management
- Lead on the planning and delivery of Capability led change initiatives, ensuring effective adoption and sustainable outcomes
- Contribute to impact assessments, stakeholder mapping, and engagement strategies
Project & Programme Delivery
- Manage Group Capability strategic plan and operations, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines, scope and quality
- Apply structured project management approaches to plan, track and manage risks, dependencies, and outcomes
- Proactively coordinate across multiple stakeholders, including People teams, Shared Services and business stakeholder, to ensure successful delivery
- Ensure initiatives are scalable, practical, and aligned to wider Group priorities
- Have full oversight to all Capability budgets and ensure these are monitored on a quarterly basis as a minimum liaising with Finance in each BU
Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Measure the effectiveness of Capability initiatives using data and feedback, linking outcomes to business performance
- Identify opportunities to simplify, align, and improve approaches
- Provide evidence-based recommendations to enhance future projects and change initiatives
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with People teams and functional leaders to align Capability activity with organisational goals.
- Build strong relationships to ensure Capability COE solutions deliver value
Performance Alignment
- Align capability initiatives with Performance, Talent and Succession management processes to reinforce desired behaviours.
Shared Services & Innovation
- Work closely with the Capability SSC to ensure effective delivery, administration and governance of capability activity. across the Nordic Region.
- Stay informed on emerging Learning, Leadership and Management trends, tools and best practice, embedding innovation into capability approaches
- Oversee use of and consult on learning technology.
Skills & Experience
Qualifications / Technical Knowledge
- Strong track record in supporting large scale change initiatives ideally in the learning, leadership and talent fields but not necessarily.
- A deep seated interest in digital and AI solutions and ideally good knowledge of learning management systems, e-learning platforms and blended learning solutions. This role holder needs to be an active user of AI.
- Role model level people management skills despite this role having no direct reports.
- Proven leader with deep understanding of business processes, workflow optimisation, and operational excellence methodologies
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions.
- Evidence of professional and personal growth through recognised relevant experience
- Ability to build Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement capability of the talent both technically and culturally.

Experience
- Proven experience consulting with multiple business units in a complex, multi-regional organisation to achieve a collectively agreed proposal to move forward and experience in managing others to deliver the same in other BUs
- Experience conducting collation of data, analyses and translating insight into effective and cost appropriate solutions.
- Experience working locally/regionally delivering a group wide agenda and approaches
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data objectively and able to manage and monitor budgets and articulate business impact and ROI.
- Strong process improvement background, excellent problem-solving skills and experience collaborating with cross functional teams.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead and execute process improvement initiatives effectively with kindness and thoughtfulness
- Experience of working in a multi-service line business and working collaboratively to deliver a one business strategy
- Demonstratable experience in building trusting relationships & positive relationships using effective collaboration.
- Experience in creating and implementing all aspects of a strategic Process Improvement & Continuous Improvement plan.
- Building and implementing clear communication strategies.
- Introducing and utilising meaningful metrics and KPIs to support business growth strategies
