Do you enjoy uncovering patterns, predicting outcomes, and helping businesses make smarter decisions? We're looking for a Forecasting Analyst to join our team and play a key role in translating complex data into actionable insights that drive business performance.

This is a Hybrid role with three days per week in our Newcastle office.
Key Responsibilities
What you'll be doing
As our Forecasting Analyst, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining forecasts that help guide critical business decisions. You'll work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions, combining data analysis, commercial awareness, and strategic thinking to provide accurate and meaningful forecasts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building, managing and continuously improving forecasting models.
- Analysing historical performance, market trends and business drivers to predict future outcomes.
- Producing regular forecasts, scenario plans and performance insights.
- Partnering with leaders across Finance, Sales, Operations and other business teams to understand forecasting requirements.
- Identifying risks, opportunities and emerging trends through data analysis.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
- Supporting budgeting, planning and strategic decision-making activities.

What we're looking for
We're interested in people who are naturally curious, commercially aware and passionate about using data to influence decisions.
You'll likely bring:
- Experience in forecasting, financial planning, business analytics, revenue operations or a similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation or reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar.
- The ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
- A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Experience working with large datasets and forecasting methodologies.
