Capacity Management Analyst

We are looking for a Capacity Management Analyst to implement and communicate our Trade Marketing policies and objectives through daily operations, taking charge of coordinating and handling daily vessel space management across Europe.

The Role

The key areas of responsibility will be

  • Act as the Capacity Management Focal Point for assigned services ensuring 100% space utilisation (TEU/BSA).
  • Maximize yield through optimal cargo mix prioritising light weight/high-yield cargoes.
  • Perform regular structural review of region performance against target levels, produce KPI reports & follow-up on any performance deviations.
  • Cost minimisation: Actively contain operational, storage, and port costs across assigned services.
  • Control Tower oversight: Serve as the central mediator aligning commercial goals with operational feasibility.
  • Represent the Capacity Management department at internal and external meetings as required.
  • Maintain proficiency in ONE’s in-house operating systems, performing timely and accurate reviews and maintenance.
  • Strategic optimisation: Balance empty container repositioning, accommodate customer needs, and preserve partner interests.
  • Coordinate the implementation booking office & customer-wise allocations. Execute the Account Plan.
  • Vessel & Route Management: Monitor vessel utilisation, optimise routings, manage wayport space, and minimise port dwell times.

The Requirements

  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Google AI (GEMINI).
  • Previous liner shipping marketing (pricing and/or space control) experience is desirable, though not essential.
  • Proven ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.
  • Proactive mindset with a systematic approach to work.
