MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience using Salesforce or another CRM.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience staffing project teams, management consulting, or corporate strategy.
- Experience with capacity planning models.
- Experience in staffing and forecasting in fractional staffing models.
- Experience building dashboards in BI tools.
ABOUT THE JOB:
The Capacity Management Lead, Forward Deployed Engineering is a critical operational role focused on optimizing the deployment, utilization, and well-being of technical talent across AI Tech Go-to-Market teams. Operating as an individual contributor, you will own the end-to-end matchmaking process, aligning project requirements with consultant skill sets, availability, and constraints, while serving as a trusted advisor to practice managers and leadership. This role requires a data-driven, relationship-oriented professional who can seamlessly balance day-to-day tactical staffing with strategic forecasting and process improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with strategy and operations and AI Tech Go-to-Market leadership to create best practices for staffing and utilization management.
- Lead weekly staffing meetings with forward deployed engineering leadership teams and ensure supply and demand forecasts are accurate.
- Work separately to match forward deployed engineers with projects based on skill set, availability, timezone, and other constraints.
- Partner with team leadership to manage assigned forward deployed engineers’ utilization, bandwidth, and well-being.
- Develop new metrics for tracking staffing efficiency.
