Contract: 6 months

Location: Remote working available

Working Pattern: Contract

Start Date: ASAP

Clearance: Valid SC Clearance – Essential

You’ll be joining a large and complex public-sector technology environment where you’ll play a key role in ensuring IT services have the capacity to meet both current and future demand.

This is an urgent requirement, with CVs being reviewed quickly and the successful candidate expected to move through the process at pace. You must already hold valid SC Clearance, there is no time available to wait for a new clearance application to be processed.

What you’ll be doing

  • Monitor service, infrastructure and application capacity and identify emerging trends.
  • Identify capacity constraints and risks before they impact service performance or availability.
  • Coordinate capacity planning across multiple technical teams.
  • Assess the impact of major incidents on capacity, performance and service resilience.
  • Support recovery planning where capacity or performance has been affected.
  • Provide demand forecasting and growth planning to ensure services can support future requirements.
  • Escalate capacity-related risks to operational and senior leadership teams.
  • Maintain capacity reports, dashboards and improvement plans.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
