About the Capacity Planning Team
The Capacity Planning Team provides AMZL with safe, cost-optimal, and flexible capacity solutions for on-road operations, year-round and enabling the business to scale for seasonal peak demand increases. This role is based out of the corporate offices of LUX20, CDG10, BCN10, or LHR140. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to deliver actionable insights that impact daily business, has a strong delivery record, and has experience in driving execution in a cross-functional environment, backed by well-defined analysis and research. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, relish working with data, and enjoy the challenge of solving complex and ambiguous problems.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Define and ramp programs to integrate new programs, business lines, and delivery channels into the central AMZL UTR capacity planning cadence and process.
- Identify the needs of the business, establish product requirements, and technology requirements to integrate the same, define a charter, and execute this strategy end-to-end from inception to implementation.
- Analyse gaps, iterate, and improve future plans, while working across functions and building key relationships to ensure that decisions and plans being made and executed, all come together for the benefit of the end customer and enable AMZL operations to run as effectively as possible.
- Challenge the unknown and strive for continuous improvement in key areas of our business.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- Experience leading large-scale programs/projects.
- Experience defining and executing program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience identifying and solving complex problems through data analysis.
- Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Experience in any Bigdata architecture, or experience in SQL Server/MySQL, and experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.
