Marcenta Capesize Operations Executive

Marcenta is growing its Capesize desk and is looking for an Operations Executive to manage the post-fixture voyage lifecycle for our Capesize fleet, from NOR to final discharge. You will work closely with owners, charterers, agents, and surveyors to keep every Capesize voyage running on schedule and on budget.

  • Monitor Capesize voyages from fixture through to final discharge and invoicing
  • Track laytime, demurrage, and despatch calculations for load and discharge ports
  • Liaise with agents, surveyors, and terminals on ETA, NOR, and berthing status
  • Review and manage bills of lading, statements of fact, and charter party documentation
  • Flag discrepancies early and support dispute resolution alongside the chartering desk

Requirements

  • Experience in dry bulk post-fixture operations, ideally on Capesize tonnage
  • Strong grasp of laytime, demurrage, and charter party terms
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple live voyages
  • Clear written communication for owner, charterer, and agent correspondence
