Capital Equipment Sales Manager

Location: UK-wide, Field-Based

Salary: Negotiable DOE + Uncapped Commission + Company Car/Car Allowance

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent

The Role:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Capital Equipment Sales Manager to join a growing business supplying specialist equipment, consumables, service contracts, and testing solutions across the CSSD, laboratory, pharmaceutical, healthcare, industrial, and commercial sectors.

This is a UK-wide, field-based sales position with responsibility for driving the growth of capital equipment sales, including autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, RO water systems, accessories, and spares, while also developing opportunities across service contracts and testing services.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record within capital equipment sales and will be confident managing the full sales cycle, from initial lead generation and site surveys through to tender submissions, commercial negotiation, and successful order closure.

You will work closely with NHS Trusts, private healthcare providers, government and public sector organisations, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and industrial clients, developing long-term relationships and identifying opportunities to grow revenue across an expanding portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full capital equipment sales cycle from lead generation through to order closure.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with NHS Trusts, private healthcare groups, government bodies, and pharmaceutical/industrial clients.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the UK.
  • Conduct customer site visits and surveys to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare and manage responses to public sector tenders, frameworks, and formal procurement processes.
  • Sell a range of capital equipment including autoclaves, washer-disinfectors, RO/water purification systems, accessories, and spares.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell service contracts, testing services, and associated solutions alongside capital equipment.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close high-value sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and consistently achieve or exceed agreed sales targets.
  • Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and relevant networking opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale through to installation, delivery, and ongoing service.
  • Provide market feedback and contribute to the continued development of the company's capital equipment and associated services offering.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
